Eastwood has announced an update to its TB64 6-String Bass for 2024, bringing a refreshed version of the instrument to the market. The TB64 6-String Bass STD, which draws inspiration from the TB-64 Teisco bass, features a solid-body design with a distinctive “monkey grip” cutout. This model comes equipped with six strings, a 30-inch scale, and 21 frets.
One of the notable changes in the 2024 model is the introduction of a solid stop-tail bridge, replacing the previous tremolo system. This modification aims to provide players with enhanced stability and sustain. The TB64 is available in three colour options: Vintage Mint Green, Fiesta Red, and Sunburst.
The instrument includes three single-coil pickups, each with an individual on/off selector, giving players the flexibility to craft their desired sound. Additional features include a Rhythm/Solo switch and controls for volume and tone, further enhancing the TB64’s adaptability.
The TB64 6-String Bass STD by Eastwood Guitars is currently available for purchase, priced at $799.
