Bergantino unveils NXT410-C Bass Cabinet

Discover the NXT410-C, Bergantino's latest bass cabinet designed for touring artists, offering tonal flexibility and portability.

Bergantino has recently announced the launch of its latest bass cabinet, the NXT410-C, which is tailored to meet the demands of touring artists. This new cabinet is designed to be a versatile solution for musicians performing across various venues, offering a wide range of tonal capabilities suited to different musical genres.

The development of the NXT410-C involved consultations with several artists, including New York-based bassist Karina Rykman, to ensure the cabinet meets the needs of professional musicians. Rykman expressed her enthusiasm about being a source of inspiration for the NXT410-C, remarking, “Firstly, I’m beyond touched to be the inspiration behind, well…anything! But this is truly insane, and such an honor… Not only is it light and extremely good looking, it can handle all my loudest, most abrasive and obnoxious effects.”

The cabinet features four 10-inch proprietary Bergantino NXT neodymium woofers and a High Intelligibility Reference Tweeter, delivering a powerful 1000w bass response capable of reaching high volume levels. The tweeter’s design allows for precise adjustments of high and low frequencies, enabling musicians to tailor the sound to their specific preferences or the acoustics of different environments. Additionally, the tweeter can be turned off to achieve a classic, vintage tone.

In terms of aesthetics, the NXT410-C continues the design language of Bergantino’s NXV series, offering options such as Graphite Bronco Tolex with an acoustically-transparent Ox-Blood grill cloth, or Classic Bronco Black with a silver grill cloth. The cabinet’s construction utilises lightweight Italian poplar and a Baltic birch baffle, ensuring both premium sound quality and ease of transportation, with the entire unit weighing 61lbs.

Key specifications of the NXT410-C include a ported cabinet design, dual Speak-ON combo connectors, a 4 Ohm impedance, and a comprehensive frequency response ranging from 40 Hz to 16 kHz. The cabinet also features a phase-coherent crossover with tweeter level control for optimal sound performance. For added convenience, the cabinet is equipped with four removable 2-inch castors.

The NXT410-C is priced at $2195.00 and is available for more information on Bergantino’s official website.

With over two decades of experience in the music industry, I've worn many hats - from running a record label and a PR agency to contributing to esteemed publications like Metal Hammer and Terrorizer. I've also authored books on iconic subjects such as Kurt Cobain's guitars and The Beatles. My journey led me to the editor's chair of Guitarrista, a print magazine dedicated to the crafts of guitar playing and building. Despite this diverse background, my true passion has always leaned towards the bass guitar. I have a particular fondness for offset basses and play a Thunderbird.
