EBS ClassicLine 212 Bass Cabinet: A balanced blend of quality and portability

Explore the features of the EBS ClassicLine 212 bass cabinet, crafted for rock'n'roll enthusiasts seeking reliability and mobility.

The new EBS ClassicLine 212 (EBS-S212CL) bass cabinet is designed for rock’n roll, offering high-quality sound and a compact design suitable for most stages.

Resembling an 810 cabinet but lighter and more manageable, the cabinet features two 12″ speakers arranged in a straight vertical line to minimize phase issues and optimize bass response. An adjustable tweeter adds versatility and brilliance to the sound, with the port positioned on the back to prevent front cloth vibration.

Designed to complement the EBS Classic 500 head, the EBS Classic 212 Mini-tower provides a cohesive matching stack with exceptional aesthetics and performance. For those seeking lighter options, EBS Reidmar amps are recommended.

Key features include tilt and side handles, heavy-duty wheels, and a padded cover. Specifications include 4 Ohms impedance, 500W RMS power handling, and a weight of 31 kg / 68 lbs. Dimensions are 80 cm / 31.49″ x 51 cm / 20.07″ x 36 cm / 14.17″ (H x W x D).

Price: € 999.00 / $1,299.99

With over two decades of experience in the music industry, I've worn many hats - from running a record label and a PR agency to contributing to esteemed publications like Metal Hammer and Terrorizer. I've also authored books on iconic subjects such as Kurt Cobain's guitars and The Beatles. My journey led me to the editor's chair of Guitarrista, a print magazine dedicated to the crafts of guitar playing and building. Despite this diverse background, my true passion has always leaned towards the bass guitar. I have a particular fondness for offset basses and play a Thunderbird.
