Introducing the new Tone Hammer and AG Series amplifiers

Aguilar Amplification introduces new Tone Hammer and AG series amplifiers, available in 500 watt and 700 watt models with universal mains and enhanced features for in-ear monitors.

Aguilar Amplification has announced the release of their latest Tone Hammer and AG series amplifiers on 20 May 2024. These new models feature several enhancements aimed at meeting the needs of modern musicians.

The updated Tone Hammer and AG amplifiers include features designed for musicians who frequently use in-ear monitors. These additions offer greater depth and flexibility, making the amplifiers suitable for both cab-less stages and studio settings. The new models support a 2.67 ohm load as standard, allowing for easy mixing and matching of different cabinets, such as using a 4 ohm SL212 with an 8 ohm SL112.

The amplifiers also include universal mains, enabling automatic adjustment to the power supply of any country. This feature simplifies international use, although musicians will need to have the appropriate power cable adapters.

Additionally, the AG series now includes the AG 500, providing a new option alongside the AG 700. This expansion offers more choices for musicians to find the ideal AG head for their requirements.

The design of the new amplifiers has been updated to a sleek, modern look with clear graphics and intuitive controls.

The new generation of Tone Hammer and AG amplifiers are available in 500 watt or 700 watt versions.

With over two decades of experience in the music industry, I've worn many hats - from running a record label and a PR agency to contributing to esteemed publications like Metal Hammer and Terrorizer. I've also authored books on iconic subjects such as Kurt Cobain's guitars and The Beatles. My journey led me to the editor's chair of Guitarrista, a print magazine dedicated to the crafts of guitar playing and building. Despite this diverse background, my true passion has always leaned towards the bass guitar. I have a particular fondness for offset basses and play a Thunderbird.
