Trickfish Amplification has unveiled a fresh series of stompbox pedals aimed at bass guitarists. The new lineup includes the VCA Compressor, Overdrive Preamp, External Preamp (EPA), and Signal Filter pedals. These products are distinguished by their design and manufacturing processes, which are carried out in the United States, ensuring the use of premium components and materials to guarantee durability and exceptional sound quality.
The company emphasizes that these new pedals are a testament to Trickfish’s dedication to providing bassists with high-caliber sound and dynamic musicality. The features common to all pedals in this series include a robust angled steel chassis, smoothly adjusting taper knobs, conveniently positioned top-mounted jacks, and easily legible graphics. Moreover, they are designed to be compatible with the standard 9V DC pedalboard power supply jacks, facilitating ease of use for musicians.
Ryan Owens, the President of Trickfish, expressed his enthusiasm for the new products, stating, “The new pedals represent what I consider the ‘bass toolbox’ that can enhance the experience of any bass player in a live situation”. He also hinted at future additions to the company’s offerings, adding, “We love how this first offering has turned out and there’s more to come!”
The company has made a demonstration video available for potential customers interested in seeing the pedals in action, which can be viewed on their YouTube playlist below.
The pedals are priced as follows: the VCA Compressor at $249, the Overdrive Preamp at $229, the Signal Filter at $219, and the External Preamp also at $219.
