King Buzzo, the founder and lead vocalist/guitarist of the Melvins, alongside Trevor Dunn, bassist for Mr. Bungle, have released a video for their track Eat The Spray. This release coincides with the announcement of their King Dunn Tour, set to traverse the United States throughout August and September.
The video, crafted by Berlin-based animator Colin Raff, has been lauded by Buzz Osborne, who remarked, “I love this video! Probably the best video I’ve ever been involved with.” The track appears on a limited edition four-song, 12” vinyl, available exclusively at their upcoming tour dates.
Osborne and Dunn’s collaboration history is extensive, including Dunn’s contribution to King Buzzo’s 2020 album Gift of Sacrifice and their joint efforts in projects such as Fantômas and Melvins Lite. During the King Dunn Tour, Dunn will perform with a stand-up concert bass, while Osborne will provide vocals and play acoustic guitar. The tour will feature J.D. Pinkus from Butthole Surfers and Melvins as the opening act on all dates.
