Marshall has announced its return to the NAMM trade show in Anaheim, California, marking the first time in five years that the historic amplifier brand will attend the event. The announcement by Marshall Group CEO Jeremy de Maillard comes as the company seeks to celebrate its amplifier legacy and engage with a new generation of music enthusiasts.
“Marshall amps have earned a special place in music history, and we’re excited about connecting with our fans and customers at this globally important event,” said de Maillard. “We have some great plans for showcasing the best that Marshall has to offer in hand-built amps while introducing several new products to the Marshall portfolio.”
Set to take place from 21-25 January 2025, the NAMM show will offer Marshall a platform to showcase and demo products on the main floor. Visitors can expect Q&A sessions, artist signings, and hands-on experience with the amplifiers. Additionally, a dedicated ‘Tone Sanctuary’—an invite-only area—will allow artists to try out new products scheduled for release later in the year.
The company’s return to NAMM is significant for the Marshall brand. The trade show has long been a venue where the company’s founder, Jim Marshall, introduced several now-legendary amps, such as the JVM and Studio series. Jim’s son and Marshall board member, Terry Marshall, highlighted the family’s commitment to the brand’s enduring legacy. “It’s wonderful to see us returning to NAMM to showcase our dedication to the amps business and for preserving the Marshall legacy for the next generation of musicians,” he said.
Since its establishment in 1962, Marshall amplifiers have shaped the sounds of numerous rock icons. The brand remains focused on protecting its legacy for future musicians. “We see ourselves as custodians of a unique slice of music heritage and we are determined to protect it for the next 60 years,” added de Maillard.
