This plugin aims to offer a digital representation of the original amplifier’s sound and tone shaping features, including selectable power tubes and gain settings.
Features and Specifications
The Omega Ampworks Granophyre plugin provides options for virtual power tubes, such as EL34, 6L6, and KT66, which allow users to customise their tone digitally. The plugin’s low gain setting delivers softer response, thicker tones, and rounded lows, while the high gain setting offers a tighter low end and more saturated sound. A voice switch enables users to adjust the midrange focus, adding another layer of tonal flexibility.
Additionally, the plugin includes a 9-band graphic equaliser, offering detailed control over the frequency response for precise tone shaping.
