The Orange OBC410 bass cabinet is crafted by Orange Amplification, known for its classic amp designs, with gigging bass players in mind. Built for road use, this cabinet offers reliability and powerful sound, ideal for medium to large venues.
Constructed from 13-ply, 18mm birch plywood, the OBC410 has tough skids on the base for improved stage protection. The skids help couple the cabinet to the floor, enhancing bass response. The internal acoustic compartmentation enhances the cabinet’s structural integrity and reduces vibration. The OBC410 is fitted with a high-powered Eminence APT80 horn, switchable to high, low, or off, to refine the horn’s output.
The cabinet is equipped with four Eminence Beta 10A speakers and a high-quality HF horn, which together handle up to 600 watts of power. This configuration ensures a focused sound that delivers strong low-end and mid frequencies. Classic Orange Amplification styling, dating back to 1968, is present in the basket weave vinyl, acoustically transparent grille cloth, and signature ‘picture frame’ edging.
The Orange OBC410 includes two parallel quarter-inch and Speakon input jacks, allowing for versatile connectivity. Its horn attenuator offers additional tonal control, letting bass players fine-tune their sound. With an impedance of 8 ohms, the cabinet works efficiently with a range of bass amplifiers.
Measuring 62 cm wide, 64 cm high, and 46 cm deep, the cabinet weighs 41 kg. Despite its weight, the OBC410 is built to withstand the demands of the road while providing consistent, high-quality sound.
The Orange OBC410 is available for purchase through authorised Orange dealers and online retailers.
