Suzi Quatro announces Global Tour celebrating 60 years in music

Suzi Quatro embarks on a worldwide tour, marking six decades of her influential career in rock music with stops in Australia, Europe, and the UK.

Suzi Quatro, the enduring figure in the realm of glam rock, is set to commemorate an impressive 60 years in the music industry with an extensive tour that spans Australia, Europe, and the UK. The announcement comes six decades after Quatro initiated her musical journey with the formation of her first band, the Pleasure Seekers, in Detroit in 1964, an endeavour inspired by The Beatles’ iconic appearance on the Ed Sullivan show.

Reflecting on her illustrious career, Quatro remarked, “It’s my 60th year in the business, and it still feels like I’ve just started. Devil Gate Drive, Number 1, 51 years ago. Are you ready now? Let’s do it one more time for Suzi.”

Following her Australian leg, Quatro will take her tour to Europe. The tour will also feature a five-date stint across the UK, starting at London’s Palladium on November 13 and wrapping up at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall on November 20.

With over two decades of experience in the music industry, I've worn many hats - from running a record label and a PR agency to contributing to esteemed publications like Metal Hammer and Terrorizer. I've also authored books on iconic subjects such as Kurt Cobain's guitars and The Beatles. My journey led me to the editor's chair of Guitarrista, a print magazine dedicated to the crafts of guitar playing and building. Despite this diverse background, my true passion has always leaned towards the bass guitar. I have a particular fondness for offset basses and play a Thunderbird.
