The Dillinger Escape Plan made a highly anticipated return to the stage at the No Values festival in Pomona, California, delivering a performance that fans had eagerly awaited. This marked the band’s first appearance since the Greg Puciato-led lineup disbanded in 2017, with original vocalist Dimitri Minakakis resuming his role to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their seminal album, Calculating Infinity.
The reunion took place under clear skies, drawing a massive crowd who witnessed a show that reignited the band’s trademark intensity. The Dillinger Escape Plan’s lineup for this event featured founding guitarist Ben Weinman, bassist Liam Wilson, drummer Billy Rymer, and guitarist James Love.
In their set, the band performed a range of their classic tracks, including Sugar Coated Sour and 43% Burnt. The audience was also treated to covers of Dead Kennedys’ California Über Alles, featuring vocalist Jello Biafra, and Minor Threat’s In My Eyes, with guest vocals from Mike Muir of Suicidal Tendencies.
The reunion show was a highlight in a festival lineup that included performances from Power Trip, The Jesus Lizard, and The Misfits.
The Dillinger Escape Plan’s reunion tour is now underway, with tickets available for purchase through their official website and authorised retailers.
