Zoom released the MS-60B+, a new pedal designed to serve bass guitarists seeking a compact, all-in-one rig solution. This model, the latest in the MultiStomp series, measures 5.2″ x 3.1″ x 2.4″ and integrates both modern technology and traditional features to support various musical styles.
The MS-60B+ features 11 preamp models, split between eight classic styles and three Zoom-developed versions, designed to facilitate a diverse range of genres. It also includes 11 amp and cabinet emulations. Among these, the Acoustic 370 and Ampeq SVT aim to recreate sounds associated with bassists like Jaco Pastorius and Flea.
Furthermore, the pedal offers 95 effects, with the capability to use up to six simultaneously. These include a variety of octaves, filters, modulations, and synths, enhancing the user’s ability to modify their sound. The pedal’s functionality extends to signal splitting, allowing outputs with or without the pedal’s amps and IRs for flexibility in sound management during live performances or studio sessions. It is noted that the MS-60B+ functions as a mono pedal.
